Note

This is a template and must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer and completed with your company details before publication.

This Privacy Policy explains how [Company / Publisher name] ("we", "us", "Rigluxe") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit rigluxe.com (the "Site"). We are committed to processing your data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection laws.

Data controller

The data controller responsible for your personal data is:

Data we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

  • Usage and analytics data: pages viewed, time spent, referring pages, approximate location (country/region), device type, browser and operating system, collected through our analytics tool.
  • Advertising identifiers and cookies: identifiers set by advertising cookies to serve and measure ads, and — where you consent — to personalise them.
  • Technical data: IP address (which may be truncated/anonymised), and log data generated automatically by your browser.
  • Data you provide directly: for example, if you contact us by email, the content of your message and your contact details.

Purposes of processing

  • Operating, securing and maintaining the Site;
  • Measuring audience and understanding how the Site is used (analytics);
  • Displaying advertising and measuring its performance;
  • Personalising advertising (only with your consent);
  • Responding to your requests and messages.

Legal bases

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): for non-essential cookies, audience measurement, and personalised advertising. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): for keeping the Site secure, preventing abuse, and basic operation. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps / legal obligation where applicable.

Third parties and recipients

We share data with the following categories of service providers and partners, who process it on our behalf or as independent controllers:

  • Google AdSense and advertising partners: to serve, cap and measure advertising. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data.
  • Analytics provider: [Analytics tool name, e.g. Google Analytics / Plausible] to measure audience.
  • Hosting and infrastructure: Cloudflare, Inc.

We do not sell your personal data.

International data transfers

Some of our providers are located outside the European Economic Area (for example in the United States). Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or applicable adequacy frameworks.

Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above:

  • Analytics data: [e.g. up to 14 months];
  • Advertising cookie data: for the lifetime of the relevant cookies (see our Cookie Policy);
  • Email correspondence: [e.g. up to 3 years] after the last contact.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten");
  • Restrict or object to processing, including processing based on legitimate interest and direct marketing;
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@rigluxe.com (or our Data Protection Officer at [DPO email], if appointed). We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will reply within the timeframe required by law (generally one month).

Complaints

If you believe your data protection rights have been infringed, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU Member State of your residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement ([relevant supervisory authority, e.g. CNIL in France]).

Profiling and automated decision-making

Where you consent to personalised advertising, our advertising partners may use profiling (Art. 22 GDPR) — for example, building an advertising profile from your browsing behaviour and interests — to select and personalise the ads you see. This profiling has no legal or similarly significant effect on you (it only affects which ads are shown), and you can object to it at any time by declining or withdrawing consent via the cookie banner or our Cookie Policy.

Children

The Site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from, or serve targeted advertising to, children under the age of 16 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction, e.g. under COPPA in the United States). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at contact@rigluxe.com so we can remove it.

California residents (CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know, delete, correct and limit the use of your personal information, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information (which, under CPRA, includes certain advertising cookies). You can exercise your opt-out choice via the cookie banner or by contacting us at contact@rigluxe.com. We do not sell personal information for money and do not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

Cookies

Detailed information about the cookies we use and how to manage them is available in our Cookie Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
